I really loved A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (in fact, I wrote about it at length in my book on empathy and art!). I still need to see A Separation–it's on so many "Best of" lists!
Sing Street!! Love it! I was really close to putting Once on my list (and I kind of hate that it's not on there). I think Sing Street is almost as good!

Tree of Life is one of my favorite movies of all time. Malick is brilliant.
In the category of great films of the 21st century, I also nominate The Lives of Others and Perfect Days.
Both very worthy of inclusion. I really need to watch The Lives of Others again!
